Derby Cultural Diversity Arts Network is now offering small, one-off development grants of up to £500 for individuals, groups, and organisations in Derby.

DCDAN welcomes development ideas that have a primary focus on diversity in culture.

The Enabling Grant scheme and its funds have come about through the steering and
network group of DCDAN, which is affiliated to Derby City Council's Arts Forum.

As part of the city's Christmas celebrations Derby Arts Fringe are hosting a weekend of 10 minute performances in Boo shop window on Sadler Gate.

From the Arts Council. The next DCDAN meeting on 12th May will have someone from the selection panel to talk about this!

I've been scratching my head trying to get addresses listed for venues... so I've created a new type of page.

Just received this today:

October is Black History Month. On Wednesday 8th October we are offering free places on a coach trip to Liverpool’s Museum of Slavery.

From a document I was sent today: there's a lot there but the main points are:

1. The programme will commence in October 2008 and finish in April 2009.
