DCDAN is working in partnership with one of its members to put on
a meeting with a difference...

Bernice Kew set up This Is Bazaar, which brings emerging contemporary designers from the Midlands under one tent. It aims to provide a fresh approach for artists, designers and shoppers alike. They had a sell-out event at the Bishop Blaise in the late summer, where they also raised money for the Derby Deaf Arts Network.

We think it's a perfect way to help people mingle and to get artists noticed in the mainstream, so DCDAN has worked with Bernice to have the event held inside QUAD, the new visual media centre in the middle of the city centre.

As part of this event five members from DCDAN will be running stalls about their practice - so come and support them too!

The space we have booked is the "Open Box" area at the top of QUAD. This will be a great venue for meeting up with other members too and networking.
