I realise that the tick-box approach to describing what you do may not be to everyone's taste. But if you've already got an account, you can edit your profile fairly easily to show the world who you are.

The key to this is the list placed below the Edit tab on the My Account page. Select 1. User info and you can write a summary of yourself if you wish. You can choose whether you want to be contacted through the site by un-ticking the Personal contact form box. Note that I will still be able to contact you though... it's an admin thing.

You can add pictures to your profile too, so that everyone knows what you look like and doesn't ignore you in the street. Although of course if you choose to put up a piece of work or your cat as a profile picture then that might hinder the visual recognition process.

Hm.

Anyway, you can contact each other too, by visiting someone else's profile and selecting the Contact tab. At the mo, you can only contact one person at a time, and the message goes directly to the person's registered e-mail address.
